  • Traded to Philadelphia by Pittsburgh with Brian Benning and Los Angeles' 1st round choice (previously acquired by Pittsburgh-Philadelphia selected Jason Bowen) in 1992 Entry Draft for Rick Tocchet, Kjell Samuelsson, Ken Wregget and Philadelphia's 3rd round choice (Dave Roche) in 1993 Entry Draft.

February 9, 1995:

  • Traded to Montreal by Philadelphia with Philadelphia's 3rd round choice (Martin Hohenberger) in 1995 Entry Draft for Eric Desjardins, Gilbert Dionne and John LeClair.

  • Scored the game-winning goal at 13:54 of the third overtime to give the Flyers a 3-2 win @ Toronto in Game Four of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series on April 16.
  • Tied for first on the team in assists (32) and power play goals (8) during the regular season.
  • Was second on the team in points with 52 (20G,32A).
  • Tied for third on the team in goals with 20.
  • Registered two assists vs. Buffalo on Jan. 7, his second assist was his 1,100th career NHL point (46th player in NHL history to reach mark).
  • Was named First Star @ Calgary on Oct. 12, after recording three goals, including a shorthanded, an even strength and a power play goal (his fifth career hat trick and second as a Flyer).
  • Missed the first eight games of the preseason due to a Grade Two MCL sprain of his right knee sustained at practice on Sept. 16.

2003-04 Season:

  • Was named the winner of the Bobby Clarke Trophy as the Flyers' most valuable player.
  • Was the Flyers' nominee for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy for leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.
