Here is what I have formulated as the final VP for each major country in EIA per historical events. I do have gaps in the historical events, especially with those pesky little wars going on elsewhere in the time period between major powers, like Russia and Turkey. I would greatly appreciate any additions to my events list. I can send a zip or un-zip file of the events which is currently on MS-word, but can be saved in other formats. Send me a request off line.

I have used Chandler's Campaigns of Napoleon and Dictionary of the Napoleonic Wars as the primary sources for the events. I have tried to include any battle containing at least one corps of any size or any battle where there were at least 5000 men on one side, but no corps were present.

David Bofinger's comments:

I'm guessing Fred hasn't already included manpower. If we do include manpower then it looks like nobody quite gets over the edge.

Please note that Fred Gilligan and David Bofinger are distinct people for tax reasons, and make sure feedback goes to the right one. Fred did the calculations on historical PPs and VPs, David HTMLised Fred's letter, runs the site and did all the other stuff that litters it.

Other Empires in Arms material can be found on David Bofinger's web page for such things. This page is hosted by GeoCities, in return for carrying their advertising they will give you a free home page much like mine. Everything on this site varies without notice, especially after I get feedback.
