An under strength Lions team chalked up a convincing 1st win of the new season against a determined Goldborne team. It was virtually impossible to select a player that stood out and the coaches with this in mind awarded the team a medal each. Candice eventually was selected as Player of the match. Candice scored 3 tries, one running the whole length of the pitch. Edward scored a try resulting from a good break from Nathan. George Top Tackler with a try saving tackle seconds from full time. Danny picked up the trophy for Most Improved player. |
