| New Springs Lions recorded their best win ever against a developing Liverpool Lions side promoting rugby league in Mersyside which is predominantly football orientated. The Lions drove the ball well with James and Edward gaining good yards which resulted in fine tries. Abigail led by example tackling and scoring a long range try and George was the pick of the bunch with a fine hat-trick of tries using speed and good balance. Confidence oozed from the Lions who capitalised on every opportunity and a great drive from Danny left 4 tacklers from the opposition helpless on he pitch. Nathan, Robert and Sam added further tries for the Lions and the performance was pleasing for all the spectators and parents. Aaron tackled well as did Edward and the Lions look forward to their next match with confidence. . |
