| Don't make what is rather simple too complex, because when it comes to prophecy, the Lord makes it easy enough to understand. Otherwise what would the point being in the Lord having His previous prophets write it down. We will 'Know the timing, day and hour' in His Time. So let's see if we can get a starting understanding of the Seven Seals. For to start with, all you have to basically know about the Seven Seals is that they are in chronological order, and they preceed the Seven Trumpets which preceed the Seven Vials (or Bowls). They start from the beginning and go to the Start of the Great Tribulation, for that is when the Trumpets start sounding at the instigation of OUR TWO CHRISTIAN WITNESSES. After the 7 Vials have been poured out on the wicked of the Earth, then the Lord starts His Millinial Reign of 1000 years. And then the cycle is repeated after these exact 7 - 1000 year periods, as the Lord has His Great White Throne Judgment and then creates a New Heaven and New Earth. Straight forward and nothing too complicated about this, just consistent useages of exact time frames and corresponding events. That's the overview, now let's look at the SEVEN SEALS more specifically for it all starts in Revelation 5. A beautiful chapter introduction of how JESUS was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the Earth, and is the ONLY ONE who could open the seals. NO man could or can, ONLY JESUS. ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO HIM.And there went out another horse [that was] red: and [power] was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. 'Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing." ... Revelation 5: 12 First Seal And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Revelation 6:2 (After Jesus victory in defeating death with His Resurrection, He opens the seal that allows His White Horse Spirit to conquer the Earth with His Words passed on by His disciples, others and manuscripts) (Compare Revelation 19 as Jesus and us, all come back on white horses to the Battle of Armegeddon and CONQUER the evils forces gathered together to try and fight us.) Second Seal And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Revelation 6: 4 (The Red Horse is Persecution, War and Destruction. As the Anti-God forces continued to try and fight the Lord's truths by fighting His Christian Missionaries, and the Titus destruction of the past tense Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. And there have been wars and destructions ever since..... which will culminate in the End Time) Third Seal ...And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. (Revelation 6: 5,6) The Third Horse being the Materialism that is the main religion of the world, as people can sell their souls for material gain, and to escape the curse which was put upon Adam for his disobediance from the beginning. The merchants being the great men of the Earth, Fourth Seal ... And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (And all these cause death, as the penalty of sin is death, and Hell unless the Saviour is accepted) Fifth Seal ....And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (Halleluia, the Lord gives all his departed saints through the ages their white robes of salvation, as they plead for the Lord to take judgment on these three other horses and the spirits of those that have NOT listened and obeyed the Lord. They want their blood avenged, but the Lord says it shall not be until yet...a little season. This little season is the time period of three and a half years of the Great tribulation, and then the 45 days of the Wrath of God. For then the blood of the saints is starting to be avenged, for true and righteous are the judgments of God.) Now do understand that the Lord is going nicely along chronologically, lots of minor fulfillments, partial fulfillments with wars HERE, plaques THERE, deaths, HERE, with the three horses while He is fighting for the minds and hearts of the people, but after the fourth Seal, its getting a little more specific, as this SEAL preceeds the taking of the MARK, and the sealing of protection for His EndTime Christians who will be needing protection from the 7 Trumpets of the Lord during the GREAT TRIBULATION. The fifth seal is preparing the way for that even as the Lord tries to get His people GATHERED and out of Babylon the Great. For notice the sixth SEAL And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (The earth is moved, and everyone tries to hide themselves, from the destruction. And though this same scenario will happen at the End of the WRATH PERIOD, with a GIANT EARTHQUAKE, because the seven trumpets follow these seven seals, this has to be the mighty devastation of the nuclear storm, wind and earth shaking that brings down the three horns (countries), one being Babylon the Great WHORE. (America). And AFTER these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have SEALED the servants of our God in their foreheads. Revelation 7: 1-3 (Did you read that, AFTER, then the Lord seals us His Christian servants, because we shall have to go through the Great tribulation. And the Lord doesn;t want any of His plagues effected us. We will have enough to battle as we fight and die in defense of the Lord's Encampment.) Because the SEVENTH SEAL openned, is the START of the GREAT TRIBULATION And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. Revelation 8: 1,2) (Did you notice it, after the seventh seal comes the seven trumpets. (SEE Revelation Timeline) these to effect all on Earth except us, because we have been sealed. We are no longer in the Pacific nor where destruction will happen because we have been GATHERED and are in the process of 'fleeing' to Petra, where the Lord promised to feed and protect us for 1260 days or three and a half years. And there you be, a simple down to EARTH, explanation and chronological order of seal openings up through history, as we await the sixth SEAL openning, because that one we shall see, because the destruction of Babylon the Great is seen by all the world (Revelation 16.). But it can not happen until AFTER the Covenant of Daniel or the LAST SEVEN YEAR COVENANT is signed by ten countries.
