Abortion and the Right to Live No one can deny that abortion is taking the live from an unborn baby. The unborn feutus is alive and dependant on its mother for food and protection. So no matter how you look at it, abortion takes its life, or stops it from living. It's right to live has been terminated by the mother, a doctor, or someone other than itself. It obviously can't make that determination in the womb just like a lot of very, very young children can't make decions and aren't able to choose. Therefore it's right to choose is taken from them as they aren't given the opportunity to stay alive long enough to make a CHOICE. O.K. and seeing under normal conditions it takes two to make babies, then the right to terminate what is made by both can hardly be made by only one of them. For from science, we know that the baby is a perfect combination of both the mother and father's DNA. The mother carries their product of love, but the father has had half the input into its make-up. So obviously the Choice to terminate the unborn child is not completely up to the mother. And yet in my opinion, if the mother's life is at risk, I think it is very scripturial to protect her health by terminating what could kill her. Why, because childbirth is a very difficult process and very hard on women. And if there has been extinuating circumstances such as rape or incest, I personnally think, that a mother, a couple, should be able to get a clean safe abortion. It makes no sense whatsoever to risk her life unnecessarily or produce a baby that is unwanted and forced upon her. But in other cases, even if the mother temporarily is not prepared for the baby, there should be other options rather than terminating its life. Childless couples can raise the baby, relatives could help out, religious people that deem life sacred could provide homes for these children to be. All of us could support mothers to be MORE, and take more responsibilty for their upbringing than merely condemning the women that don;t want them. For maybe they don;t feel strong enough to take care of a baby. We should be there to help them whether we were directly involved or not. For if we saw all children as the Creators children, we would not just condem but HELP. And therefore I think this is one of the biggest drawbacks of some pro-Life advocates. To encourage mothers and fathers to give birth and new life, actions and literal care and help would be more appreciated than just mere words, that it is unlawful to commit 'abortion'. For in the eyes of the Lord, they are all His children.... and that goes for those that no longer have a father around or even those that the mother doesn;t even know who the father is. It matters not !! For they are then called 'Jesus Babies' in some European countries ... because Jesus loves them and has fathered them, even if His vechicle for doing so has split and run. And these Jesus babies are not bastards, but sons and daughters of the King, and are absolutely equal to any other child that the Lord has brought forth. Just by being born, they are divine and special, just like all other children. And Woe be to the person that harms any of them as Jesus said so many times........ Mathew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Mathew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. And so surely we should therefore take care of what the Lord has put together, even in the womb. And we should try and keep the life and lives hHe has given as long as earthly possible, til their natural end.. And in the process and on the journey try help others live, whether born or unborn.
