Beware of the
                'Leaven of Self Righteousness'

Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the
leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees…….How is it
that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning
bread, (but) that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees
and of the Sadducees ……. Then understood they how that he
bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the Doctrine
of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.. (Mark 16; 6-16)

(And Jesus taught even others ….for it says) In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is HYPOCRISY (Luke 12: 1)

So when Jesus talked about The LEAVEN of the Scribes and Pharisees, He was talking about their Holiness Doctrine, their hypocrisy in pretending to be righteous.

For their religion is based on law and not on His Righteousness. They believed in their own righteousness and therefore could not accept the Messiah, and could not accept Jesus. Their doctrine was self-righteousness. that is absolutely opposed to the Lord's doctrine that "ONLY HE is Righteous" This is why the Scribes and Pharisees separated them selves from communing with Jesus and any they deemed unrighteous like the tax collectors, and prostitutes and common folks.

This is why Jesus had such righteous indignation against them in Mathew 23. And this is why, the Scribes and Pharisees and great majority of church people fulfill Isaiah 65..... My comments will be in (...)

Isaiah 65:3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my Face; (Notice that the Lord gets angry with the wicked) that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; (These people seem religious, and have a form of outward godliness, these are the Scribes and Pharisees and the ******* people)

Isa 65:4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels; (They are not clean nor healed and eat and drink unclean thoughts and intents into their hearts)

Isa 65:5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day. (The Lord doesn't forget and forgive these, they are a continual annoyance and bad smell to Him)

Isa 65:6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom, (Amen Lord, recompense comes from you LORD to those that think they are more 'holy than their brethren'. Amen and Amen. Righteousness belongs unto the Lord. )

So let not either side think they are too holy to stand together, and let neither side persecute the other, and think they do God Service. The Lord will be the judge and the Lord will recompense the offenders.

In His Service in my opinion according to scriptures and truth
