David Jay Jordan's Discerning the Spirits The truth is I don't have a lot of experience, discerning spirits, and so let's hear from someone that has. Her name is RawnaMoon, and she is a Christian witch. So please don't make hasty judgments on preconceived notions about the word Witch ...... because the Lord has a lot of 'Different Sheep', and He will bring all of us together in the 'Last Gathering'. For in my opinion what she has written below is Biblical and excellent Christian advice, from her direct personal experience. .... For if in earnest prayer for the Lord's help, we may have to discern between the spirits, as is said in 1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, ********************************************* (RawnaMoon at RawnaMoon@aol.com writes....) Don't just assume that someone who says that they are an angel, actually is the angel they say they are. So next I want to give you some tests to discern spirits. You can use these tests not just to be sure the figures who claim to be the Guardians actually are, but also to test any spirit you meet on the gray paths whether they are reliable spirits congruent with your Christian faith. (For anyone who is not Christian who is reading this, the following tests are only valid within a Christian framework, I have no idea what tests those in other faiths should use.) All spirits speaking by the Holy Spirit will confess that Jesus is Lord. So ask the spirit who is its Lord. If it doesn't answer with Jesus, then don't trust it.All spirits that are of God/Goddess will confess that Jesus came in the flesh, that is Jesus was a true human being. So ask the spirit if Jesus came in the flesh. If it responds that Jesus was not really a true human being, only a spirit, then don't trust it.All spirits that are of God/Goddess will refuse worship and adoration. If a spirit asks you to worship it or anything other than God/Goddess, then don't trust it.All spirits that are of God/Goddess will refrain from instructing you in religious doctrine, they're role is guidance in the spiritual walk, not to reveal doctrine to you. If a spirit begins to assume the role of revealing doctrinal truth, then don't trust it.All spirits that are of God/Goddess will not be in the business of shame, guilt, fear or hate, but in the business of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control. If a spirit promotes hate, fear, guilt or shame, don't trust it. Spirits who meet the above tests can be trusted. If they say that they are one of the archangels, then you are safe in trusting them that they are. However, if a spirit fails one or more of the above tests, don't trust them no matter who they say or purport they are. Just because you can trust the Guardians, however, doesn't mean you should surrender your own decision making to them. Still ..... make your own decisions. ....... (Written by RawnaMoon from http://members.aol.com/RawnaMoon/seeker10.html ) ********************************************** Amen Rawna, as I agree, that we should never lose control of our will and decision making and should be praying to the Lord Jesus, and discern whatever spirit or spirits that may come. And we should grill them and test them to make sure they are of the Lord and serve the Lord and are there for our good rather than as deceitful tricksters or worse. We have to be wiser than the spirits of darkness, and be aware of their perfidity, if we are to be warriors in the Lord. And even though Rawna, may use a word or wording of God/Goddess that we usually don't use, we need not be too concerned, because as we should realize the Holy Spirit is Feminine, and is part of God, so the word Goddess could be used, and they are One. So there should be nothing wrong with the God/Goddess wording Rawna uses. For in confirmation, in Joy's Dancing Loaf's Dream, her guide in the dream was a guardian angel and she showed the three loafs blending into One, as the Father, and Mother and Son are ONE. The basic Trinity doctrine of most Christians. So do discern the spirits wisely in the present and in the future with the Lord's discernment.
