David Jay Jordan's Fleeing to Petra When we flee into the wilderness as directed and told to us by the Lord's Prophets, we won;t be wandering aimlessly around like Moses and the Children of Israel in the First Exodus. But in the Lord's Second Exodus, we will have a destination and a place prepared for us by the Lord. But this time, allow me to use a Bulletin Board response in explanation ******************************************** I read a few months ago that you believe (some) Christians will flee to Petra in the Tribulation. What about the 2 witnesses of Rev.11 who witness in Jerusalem? Are they alone or do you think lots of Christians will be witnessing/living in Israel then? Is that why they're so near to flee to Petra (in Jordan)? ...... posted by Curious ******************************************** Allow me to use (((((....)))))) to give my comments. I read a few months ago that you believe (some) Christians will flee to Petra in the Tribulation.(((((((((Actually I suggested that almost all Christians that would survive through the Tribulation would have to gather together in the 2nd exodus (See 2nd exodus letter with approximately ten scriptures substantiating my belief). We would be forced to flee after we had gathered in Israel, at the time the A.C. takes over, and is in the process of setting up his image. We flee across Jordan as suggested even in Revelations 12, and other old Testament scriptures. We (meaning 'Our 2 Prophets' ascend Mt. Nebo, secure the Ark (See Ark of the Covenant) and then we proceed though Moab and onto edom as other scriptures mention, and down the King's Highway (see posts on the Kings Highway) and eventually onto Petra .)))) What about the 2 witnesses of Rev.11 who witness in Jerusalem? (((These Two witnesses are our 2 leaders and although they venture to Jerusalem to call down the plagues of God onto the wicked in the tribulation, they do not stay and live in Jerusalem. They deliver the Lord's message and judgments and depart. They walk unafraid back and forth from our encampment in the wilderness in Petra to Jerusalem and then back, because no weapon that is formed against them will work. (See No weapon of War ) And if any man or soldier dare to fire upon them literal fire comes out of our prophets mouths. Literal fire not just fiery words))))) Are they alone or do you think lots of Christians will be witnessing/living in Israel then? (No....Anyone in Israel after the A.C. is enthroned and after the one month period that it takes to set up his abominable image have to absolutely obey and take his Evil MARK or die. So being in israel during the tribulation is absolutely no help , no benefit whatsoever, if you were to ask me. If you don't make it into the Lord's moving Encampment of His Chosen Ones who have chosen the Lord, then you have no protection from the A.C. and you definitely won't be witnessing and litnessing nor winning any souls to the Lord on the outside. I mean a few Christians around the world in various spots might hold out for a while, maybe a month or two or maybe even half a year if they are resourcefull, but the Lord's protection is with His Spirit that is overshadowing His encampment in accordance with His Words. So I don't reckon the other Christians will survive to long without being in the Lords Perfect Will in the End-Time.))))) Is that why they're so near to flee to Petra (in Jordan)? (((Yes, we flee out of Israel, as mentioned away from the Beast, that chases us just like his predesser the Pharoah of Egpyt did. And again the Jordan is dried up just like when Moses and Joshua crossed both the red Sea and the Jordan the first time around..... So Yes, in my opinion from reading the scriptures, our old testament brethren, who's words all mesh together so perfectly, we will be fleeing from the face of the serpent while being protected by the Lord and 'Feed by the Lord in the Wilderness'. it's not super-spiritual but absolutely literal. And we don't go by cars and buses, but hoof it on our own or maybe on some of the Lord's horses or other animals. And we won't be running around in circles like the first Children of israel because of their disobediances, but we will have a very specific route down the Kings Highway to traverse. So if you have a map, you can trace our steps from the valley of Achor outside of Jerusalem, to crossing the Jordan, the base of Mount Nebo, through Moab, to edom, to Bozrah, to Petra. If we didn't move too fast the whole journey wouldn't probably take more than about a month if the Lord kept moving His Spiritual Cloud in telling us when to move. So rather than forty years wandering aimlessly in the wilderness, I think scriptures indicate we will have a temporary home in Petra, that already has the history, the prophecies, the locale, the protective features, everything needed and big enough for 144,000 of the Lord's people.))))) In my opinion according to scriptures. Jay SEE also Geography and Pics of Petra |
