David Jay Jordan's "Go To Church' Church people will tell you over and over again, 'Go to Church', because you are told to in the Bible. And believe it or not, I would almost agree with them. But the problem is that it is very hard to find a true loving and compassionate and in-tune church. It's possible but improbable, so don't condem yourself if you don't feel comfortable within their pews. Why, because most likely if you don't feel like you fit in, it may be that the Lord doesn't want you to fit into their way of thinking and prasing and worshipping. For He is our greatest example and when he went to the synagogue and tried to teach them out of His own Book, they wanted to chase him out of town, throw Him off a cliff, and yet eventually did get their religious leaders to crucify Him out of jealousy. (SEE Why Churches are so Dangerous) So if you find you are an outcast and forsaken, then don't feel outcast and forsaken because our Lord was as well. (SEE Encouragement for the Forsaken) Just go on believeing no matter what try and find others of the same faith and belief even if you have to win them to the Lord yourself and make your own little group. But don't conform to a church or body of believers just for the sake of trying to fit in. because it will eventually grieve your soul and leave you empty as they are. But then again, you can't expect perfection from infallable people and churches, and if you find a reasonable one that in some ways builds your faith and encourages you in the 'Faith', then continue going until you decide otherwise. I mean sometimes you have to know where it ain't from direct personal experience before you can discover that, that is not what you want. It won't be just 'Book Learning' but from direct experience from real life and real life church experiences. So Yes, if a new Christian, look for a church to go to, not just on Sunday but as many days as possible ... and seek to grow in the Lord and in strength and faith. But if you don't find one, don't let anyone condemn you for supposedly being out of the Body of Christ. Because when you have the Lord, you are in the 'IN-GROUP', so don't forget it, as He will never forget or forsake you. (SEE The Lord has never lost a sheep). And we will be 'Gathered in the End Time', and we will All be 'Resurrected' together at His Second Coming .... and then we will all be part of His CHURCH FOREVER According to Scriptures David Jay Jordan |
