| David Jay Jordan's The Lord is Fair So many times people accuse the Lord of being unfair. But He isn't !! We only reap what we personnally sow. And He's straight forward, as the Judge and we get exactly what we deserve. If we want the truth, He gives us the truth. If we want a lie, then He allows the devil to lie and give us an alternative. He doesn't tell anyone lies and doesn't trick them into the wrong decisions. It's their choice which is why He can hold them and us responsible for our choices. Jacob was tricky. He tricked both his brother, Esau and his father, Isaac, into giving him the birthright that was suppose to belong to the eldest son. But Jacob didn't receive the blessing until he learned honesty by working for somebody even trickier than him….his uncle Laban. (Genesis 28-32) For only then after suffering the consequences of being tricked, was he able to wrestle with the angel and become ISRAEL… a changed man. And then and only then, did he receive the blessing and the inheritance of the Lord and become the father of a mighty nation. Why because he wanted the truth and wanted the blessing and would take no other from the angel that had the power to bestow it upon him. But if people want a lie, the Lord might be heard saying …. Isaiah 6:8 - 10 "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us ? Then said I, Here am I; send me. And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed." Why, because they loved not the truth and didn't want the truth. So that the Lord can even send them false prophets to prophesize unto them falsely in the name of the Lord. They may be economists, or politicians, or church leaders, but they can be lying if we don't want the truth from the Lord's word and prophets. 1Kings 22:20 - 23 "And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And in this manner, and another said on that manner.And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. And the LORD said unto him,Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee." And instead of getting the truth, we shall receive a lie, 2 Thessalonians 2: 11 - And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: In other words, if we want flesh, he gives us flesh instead of His Spirit Psalm 106:15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. But He is not to blame, we are !!. James 1:13 - 16 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. For as Jesus said John 8:31 - 32 If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. God is Not Tricky but Truthful. We reap exactly what we sow. We won't be reaping some one else's sins or rewards but only our own. Be not deceived, whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap, for the Lord is FAIR. Revelation 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; JUST and TRUE are thy ways, thou King of saints.
