If you didn't know it a Bride makes love to her Bridegroom. Their lovemaking confirming, consummating and sealing their marriage. And it is this relationship that runs throughout the Old and New Testament, as Jesus is the bridegroom and we that love Him are called the Bride. (SEE Bride of Christ in O. T.)
Jesus is our Bridegroom and we are His Bride. jesus created sex not the devil (Consider Jesus Created Sex ) Jesus has a penus and wants to enter his Bride ... (SEE Does the Lord have a Penus ) The Lord is the opriginal sexy Christian and wants to make love to His bride. just read what the great prophet Isaiah had to say about this relationship. .....
Isa 54:4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine HUSBAND; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Isa 54:6 For the LORD hath called thee as a WOMAN forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a WIFE of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
Isa 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
We are this Bride of Christ, if we love Him. Why because He has found us and rescued us from this present evil world and has cleaned us up and sanctified us. We haven't made ourselves holy, but only by His Grace have we become holy enough to be HIS. And so when you read Hosea, the prophet and his prophecies about the End-Time, it meshes perfectly once again.
As Hosea marries the whore, Hosea being symbolic of the Lord and His LOVE. This marriage of Hosea to the whore showing the Lord's great LOVE, as the Lord has also rescued us her, and cleans us up .... And when you start to understand End-time prophecy and how the prophets words mesh exactly with the Lord's other words and our travels and love in the End Time, it should all the more thrill your soul, if you desire only HIM.
Hosea 2:14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her. (SEE Revelation 12: 6 etc etc.. The Lord carries us His Bride into the wilderness and feeds us there 1260 days before His 2nd Coming and our betrothal to Him at the MARRIAGE SUPPER of the Lamb.. where we will mate together as ONE SEE Daniel Timeline )
Hsa 2:15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt. (Exact correlation with the Second Exodus, so talked about by soo many prophets..)
Hsa 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and [with] the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. (Psalm 23 etc.. etc. yea though we are walking through the valley of death, the Lord our Husband is with us)
Hosea 2:19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. (Betroth means MARRY, wed, unite, make love !!)
Hsa 2:20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD. (Know means sexual intercourse with heart,soul, mind and BODY)
Hsa 2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; (He will even make love to us, by putting us on the ground, and sow into us his seeds, his semen and life) and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God. And we shall be so thankful to our Lord and Husband that we shall honour Him with our service and all our lives til death, and til our meeting in the Air, so shall we always be with the Lord, our husband and our Lover.)
For Jesus says to His Bride ahhh soo romantically ...Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green. The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir (Song of Solomon 1: 16-17).... Why because they are outside making love on the ground and in the grass and under His trees. So don't ever think that the Lord is not sexual, but He is only loving to those that receive Him in heart, soul, mind and BODY. This is the first and GREAT COMMANDMENT, that we love Him as He has loved us..... (Thanks so much Trixie for showing me these verses, as she again was reading these verses when we needed them... oh the virtues of a godly woman !!)
