| Lenben's A BRIEF GLIMPSE OF THE MYSTERY OF TIME . . . TIME. - Something we all consciously sense, yet only dimly perceive, and yet we find it really quite beyond words to describe; yes, utterly beyond words. One must almost be godlike to comprehend (much less adequately explain) Time and Eternity. But if for no other reason than for the sheer fascination of it all and likewise its challenge, we shall just take a little stab at it here and then humbly submit our observations and understandings...perhaps you will find an insight or two if you look closely . . . One of the great sages of old put it this way: "Time is how God keeps things from happening all at once." I think he was right. Perhaps for GOD things (events) do happen all at once and "time" as we know it and experience it is only a complex, self-contained (tho largely unconscious) description of ultimate reality and ultimate meaning. GOD (YHVH, The Eternal) IS, and Is transcendent: He encompasses Time but His Being, His Essence exists holy, WHOLLY beyond It in an unchanging matrix of Eternity: That is, his Being & Consciousness (Pure Knowledge, Ultimate Knowledge) is inclusive of All Past/Future things (events) in an Eternal Present Perfect. In another manner of viewing it, ETERNALLY AND SIMULTANEOUSLY: "ALL THINGS ARE BEFORE HIS FACE." GOD (Mind, yet more than Mind; Power, yet far more than Power) IS ALWAYS N O W : Here, There, Everywhere: Totally Sovereign, All-Knowing, All-Light, All-Love, Perfect Wisdom, - ALL-ENCOMPASSING: ONE in unchanging, radiant Moral Perfection, and (right here is where things get very personal and serious): He hold our l "i" ttle w "i" ll accountable to HIM. * Just a little footnote to the above: "The Dance (in fact, CONFLICT) of Good VS evil" will end, not in some imaginary, nebulous "harmonic convergence" or "oneness" of resolved dualism, but it will end rather in "The Great Divorce," - a final separation: to the left: darkness, the abyss, despair,- a total absence of GoOD, - full and final separation; to the right: restoration to Perfection, Beauty, and Harmony within the marvelous confines of Divine Love. And may I here say (and without apology) that I have found undeniably Y'shua Messiah (insofar as DESTINY and CHOICES) to be at the very crossroads of Time and Eternity: A crystalized point wherein Time merges with Eternity in a Final Act of Sacrifical Love/Atonement/Redemption, whereby an ultimate Ransom is paid for otherwise hopelessly captive souls: The Creator swallowing up sin and death and hell, opening wide the Door to redemption and RESToration. - I am certain of this and also that Time will have an altogether new dimension and meaning once "the mad death-dance" of sin, pride, greed, "self-fulfillment" and rebellion has played out its final scene and GOD brings down the curtain. My faith and understanding is this: Yahweh (or perhaps more accurately, Yah a vah), blessed be His Name forever, will have the Last Word on every matter, great or small, - and this especially in His supreme concerns of moral truth and right relationships. - This, my dear friend, is precisely why He is to be honored (and most certainly DESERVES) to be loved, reveranced, feared, and obeyed. - The foolish (and the self-absorbed) will find all this contemptible and unnecessary; the wise know that GOD IS REAL and so act accordingly. The one the Gentiles call "Christ," - the Messiah, the Promised One, - Yahshuah Ben-YaHaVaH, - Is THE KEY that unlocks the meaning and purposes of everything. Literally EVERYTHING. He is, you will find, the only true Savior and Deliverer: The grace and wisdom and righteousness of God made manifest to fallen Man. HE IS, in His Eternal Essence, THAT which "upholds all things...and BY WHICH all things do consist." The Eternal Word, The Eternal Son, The Eternal ONE.
