Sure Polyamourites, can group together and praise themselves for their relationships which they surely will say, shows their advanced nature over others in the monogamous world. But how deep is their love and how sacrificial is it, and how long will it last. Cause I personally don't think any pagan has ever matched the LOVE of the Lord when He is here, and none can match His Love through His Spirit, now that he has left. So please don't tell me that, Pagans or non believers in the creator of love can have the same love as Christians, or please don't infer that this group or that group of swingers or polygamists are so sweet and loving, cause I for one am not going to believe it.
Sure I have seen the superficiality of church groups and the superficiality of P.R. cult groups, and so the outer appearance of love groups and their group meetings are surely no different.
For no one else who has ever been HERE on Earth, can suggest that they are LOVE, except Jesus. For when it says God is LOVE, Jesus was and is the One and ONLY SON of the Father who is equal to the Father, and any that deny his power, would also have to deny His Love. This no one should do. For only Jesus can give us the love to truly love another human, only Jesus can give us the patience and longsuffering to believe in them and trust them and love them with true feeling and emotion from the heart. Buddha can't do that, a Hindu God can't do that, inanimate Mother Nature can't do that, and no mere man or woman can do this.
It is absolutely impossible to love without the Lord. Sure people who know not the Lord can choose love and consideration rather than selfishness and competition. But once, they are brought to the point of decision of who has given them the power to love, they have to choose Him or lose their power. Sure some polyamorists can look loving but if in the long run they deny the power of LOVE, the power of the LORD which is the only true love, then I say, they will lose their love and be left with nothing.
As I don't think mere superficial polyamory is the aim of life or the point of our existence. Just getting more lovers, wives or husbands, isn't the cure all for our lifes, in my opinion. Besides it just isn't going to happen without JESUS.
"We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." ( I John 4)
So if you choose a polyamory guru rather than Jesus as your leader and idol and teacher, then I say you will be sadly mistaken and disappointed when you find out your idol has feet of clay and a heart of stone rather than of love. For if he or she denies that the Lord is LOVE they are not of God, straight forward and simple. If you think this harsh, so be it. People can have a type of love for each other without having the Lord, by just yielding to His Spirit of Love, but those that reject Him as Love and as the giver of Love and as the example of truly giving all for LOVE, then they will lose their life and their love.
There I said it and mean it. Only Jesus can get us truly together, for it is an absolute miracle for two to become one, and more miraculous that three become one.
"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." (John 17: 20-23)
Love is not man-made, but absolutely supernatural and miraculous and goes straight back to the greatest love act of all, Jesus on the Cross. JESUS IS LOVE ... and you will never suceed in polamory without Him.
