Ruth uncovered Boaz's feet Uncovering one's relative's nakedness, was not merely seeing them naked, but meant having sex with them....as is shown in this wholeChapter in Leviticus 18 Lev 18:6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their] nakedness: I am the LORD. The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover:she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness. The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, [even] their nakedness thou shalt not uncover. The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness. Please read the rest of this chapter... as uncovering is a descret way of saying, 'having sex with'. So now we know what Naomi, was instructing Ruth to do unto a sleeping relative called Boaz. And yet this was very legitimate because Ruth's husband, one of the sons of Naomi, had died, and the lineage needed to be carried on with a relative. And faithful and hard working and loyal Ruth obeyed, her mother in law... (My comments in ...(...)) ***************************************** Ruth 3: 1 Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor. Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking. (In other words, Naomi knew that the harvesters and the owner of the field would celebrate and get drunk after the harvesting was complete) Rth 3:4 And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do (His inhibitions will be lowered and he shall want sex, and you shall be available) Ruth 3:5 And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do. (Ruth was so humble and obedient and do remember she was a Moabite and not from Jewish parentage. She was supposedly, not one of the chosen ones, the children of Israel, and yet she had heart, soul and OBEYED with her body) Ruth 3:6 And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her. Ruth 3:7 And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down. (Boaz was naked and aroused, and Ruth ministered unto him upon his request. She had sex with him) Rth 3:8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. (He slept after having sex with uth and yet the beautiful sexy Ruth, remained at his feet, humbling waiting..) Ruth 3:9 And he said, Who art thou? (Boaz is dis-oriented after his drunkedness and is getting sobered up by the presense of this woman at his feet) And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: (thy servant) spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman. (Ruth is saying, 'I am a kinsman, so cover up my nakedness, because I am nude') Ruth 3:10 And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich. (Boaz sees that Ruth, has shown real love to him and has not just followed her hormones after younger stronger more sexual men, but made love to him, an older man) Ruth 3:11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman. (And Boaz says that he will keep her virtue in tact, and cover her with his skirt and accept her, because he sees her virtue and LOVE and FAITH) Ruth 3:12 And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I. (Boaz knowing the law that others closer in lineage than him have the first right to marry Ruth, and so is contemplating, marrying her for himself) Ruth 3:13 Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning. (Boaz is so consdierate of uth, that he doesn;t kick her out, but says, if no other kinsmen wishes to marry her, he Boaz WILL) Ruth 3:14 And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor. (In other words, 'Let's keep our lovemaking secret') And Boaz kept his word, and claimed Ruth as his wife...and through Ruth, a Moabite with great faith in just three generations came King David, Solomon, all the way to the birth of Jesus, the Messiah. Mathew 1:5 And Salmon begat Boaz of Rachab; and Boaz begat Obed of RUTH; and Obed begat Jesse; Mathew 1:6 And Jesse begat DAVID the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Uriah; This ALL showing so many biblical principles, where a stranger to the encampment, Ruth was accepted in and became part of the very lineage of the Lord Himself, because the real lineage of the Lord has always been in heart and soul, and not just mere parentage. Ruth was faith, hunmble, obedient, hardworking, beautiful and sexy. And so the Lord blessed her, even as she obeyed her mother-in-law and uncovered the feet of Boaz. Don't you agree with strangers uniting in Love and faith and don't you disagree with incest and forced uncoverings. david |
