| David Jay Jordan Decision-Making - Seek to Find We all have to stop being so dam lazy, and expect others to give us all the answers and some easy, solution to all our problems. Because that isn’t the way the Lord works. He expects us personally to “seek to find, and knock to have the door opened,’ . Others can't to it all for us, when the Lord expects us to put forth the effort ourselves. And the solutions aren't always so blatant and superficial as we want. We have to do the hard work of looking and searching and researching and taking the hard knocks from personal experience to know what we are to do and which path to take. it isn't always easy and it was never meant to be.... There are no short cuts for personal experiences, for most of us only learn that way. We can read about the right thing to do, but until we recognize the situation and have the courage to do the right thing, then our training is theoretical and not practical. It’s book learning and not something that has registered in our heart. For to really understand we have to learn from experience and be tried and tested. Yes, we are to ask questions of as many as possible and consider their answers. And Yes, we are to search scriptures and true science and true history and true current events for truths, but in the End, we still have to make the decisions ourselves and have the strength to walk the walk. And that means we will have nobody to blame but ourselves. It has to be totally our own responsibility. So we ALL have to quite blaming others and start being mature at whatever age we are, and make decisions. We can’t have group FAITH, it has to be personal direct Faith in the Lord and His truths, which means we have to go it alone in our most important decisions. (SEE How to get Faith) So when you hear the complainers, and moaners and groaners of this life blaming others rather than themselves feel sorry for them for they aren’t learning in most cases until they learn to stand on their own two feet and make their own decisions and take the flack and consequences for their decisions. And none of us have ever made all the right decisions, we are going to make some horrible ones, and yet that is part of the learning process. We have to see our errors, correct them, make amends and keep going …older and wiser. We have to be humbler as we follow the Lord and more dependent on Him and our own shortcomings. We have to pray more and more often, and I don’t mean out loud and on our knees, but as we are walking (or running) so that in whatever situation we are in, we are asking for His guidance. For the more we know, the more we will be dependent on His KNOWLEDGE.
