Mathew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to
kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul
and body in hell.
He may be our Lord, our Saviour, Deliverer, Rock, and Bridegrrom and LOVER, but if we forget to respect Him according to His Position, then we are setting ourselves up to FALL.
The worse sins I saw in churches and cults where when those inside forgot to have an ever present Fear of God, and Fear of sinning by hurting others. They thought they were gods unto themselves and that the Lord would see nor judge them for their sins.... and sometimes I do mean horrible sexual sins.
And yet from what I have seen over the years, the Lord never lets anyone get away with anything. He may judge them instanteous, sometimes in the short term, sometimes in the long term, and sometimes when they get too bad, He just takes them altogether. Sometimes its a mere nudge, sometimes stronger, and sometimes the ULTIMATE Judgment of this Life.
So we better understand that our very lives Here right HERE and Right NOW are only by the Grace of God and if we push Him to far with our sins and/or sexual sins, the Lord shall punish us. For even though
supposedly liberated, it hardly means we will no longer sin, nor commit sexual sins. It all depends on our hearts and whether we truly have love or selfishness in our hearts.
And if we start to lose our Fear of Him, and stop realizing that He sees our heart, motivations, and actions towards others, then we are just setting ourselves up for a FALL. And even though we are bold and brave against the demons, devil and powers of this world, still we will fail if we don't have a healthy Fear and Respect for our Lord. For without it, we will stop hearing the conviction and conscience given to us by the Holy Spirit and we will stop obeying Her Voice.... Stop helping people and brethren and start hurting them in our greed and lust.
And if we get too bad, sometimes the Lord Himself may have to hit us with his rod. And if you have never felt its sting, then in truth you and I would be 'bastards and not sons and daughters.' For the Lord our Lord, is a strong and mighty JUDGE, if we hurt his sheep and get out of His LOVE. So we better watch out, that we keep humble before Him, and we better have the Fear of failing Him before our eyes and in our hearts.
Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth
every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth
with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth
not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers,
then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers
of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we
not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and
live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own
pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his
holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but
grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of
righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
There I said it..... What do you think.. Do you have it ? Have you known the Lord's
judgment against you when you got out of it. here's just one example from my life, that better explains this ... My Back and My Pride So let's fear the Lord and His Judgments if we get out of His WILL and start to hurt others.
