| Sexual Tessellation Tessellation is the filling of space with regular shapes, but when it comes to tessellation of three dimensions such as in real life, by far the most interesting filling of space is with the five elements (earth, air, water, fire and spirit) associated with the five Platonic solids. The elements having certain electronic configurations that match up with these particular geometric shapes or Platonic solids. Are you catching it ? Each electron configuration or completed ring or sphere in an electron shell, is trying to form a stable Platonic solid. Why, because then it will be fulfilled and stable and united. It will have male and female aspects and be whole. It can tessellate, and modulate from one Platonic solid to its corresponding Platonic solid. For the vertexes of a square configuration in space is when eight electrons are equally separated from the other seven electrons when in the second shell. This shell completes itself when eight electrons are whirling around within this range as a cube. In other words, IMO, the second shell is trying to form a completed electron arrangement of eight electrons equally spaced and stable. Hence it does not want more electrons in this shell, and its valence is zero. Its polygamous arrangement is completed, so that another shell away from the nucleus must be started and then completed for another stable element to be formed, or a combination of elements to unite polygamously and share electrons, so they are stable and fulfilled in their spheres or shells. As just as with male and female UNION, and completed fulfillment of a hole with a pole within, or a pole with a hole surrounding it for completion, the tessellation of a cube or hexahedron into a octahedron, or a dodecahedron into an icosahedron.
