| The Stolen Coat Testimony When somebody goes out of their way to extend the Lord's love to their fellow brethren, it causes such conviction in the hearts of those that witness such love that each of us should be reminded and inspired by such acts. These acts of love called altruism in biology and science are the one thing that evolutionists have absolutely no answer for. Because in their demented opinions it's every dog for themselves and love that puts others first is totally illogical, irrational, and unscientific because unselfish acts violates their dog eat dog, survival of the fittest and meanest, false doctrine of Evolution. Anyway, thinking of a testimony of such acts in the past, allow me to mention what Michael Christian, the artist did when we were passing out Christian literature at the World's Fair in Spokane Washington. We had been hitting the gates for about six hours straight and it was time to heading back. We were passing by a big long haul truck when a teenager jumped out of the cab with a coat in his hand. Michael and I approached him and said, he shouldn't steal from the truck driver because the driver would need his coat. The teen replied. "I need one too, I haven't got one and it's cold". Without hesitation, Michael took his coat off and handed it over to the teen, and said. "Now you have one, it's yours." The fellow was speechless and just stood there for the longest time with mouth wide open. Michael said, "Just put the driver's coat back' The teen did so, and then ran away. But Michael?s coat wasn?t a regular old coat, it was beautiful and hardly worn at all. It should have been considered a great sacrifice by Michael, but he acted like it meant nothing to him because his brother needed one more than he did. And besides as Michael said "The Lord will give me another one". I agreed but was still totally awestruck in my depths with such simple love and giving. And I have never forgot til this day, the sacrifice in love that Michael did. And surely, that teen has never forgotten the day, that a total stranger handed over their own coat to him in Jesus's love. When we have such love, it must truly convict the people we meet ?. to find the Lord of such love.
