| David Jay Jordan's You don't have to go through Hell to appreciate ... Heaven I don't want any to get the impression that I think people that have experienced hell are better and more spiritual and therefore more special just because they came from such a horrible backgrounds. And therefore they could be greatly used more than any of us whatever our backgrounds etc. etc. I do not believe this, as I remember the testimony of I think it was Moody. He was just a shoe salesman that got saved one day when a Christian came in and witnessed to him. He had no special background, but believed he could be anything the Lord wanted him to be after he got saved. He was nothing special, except that he believed, he could be used by the Lord. And he went on believing that he could an he did ! So in my opinion, any of us, can be used by the Lord and whatever age or background, despite what has happened to us or what hasn’t happened to us, it is a brand new day and we are only limited by what we believe. if we think we can be used by the Lord and act on it, then we can be used greatly by the Lord. Only our faith limits us, and nothing else. We don't have to go through the depths of hell to realize how beautiful the Lord is and How beautiful heaven will be. We don’t have to have the most fantastic past testimonies to make a future life and future testimony. We just have to appreciate the Lord, some can have an advantage on us because of their past awful circumstances, but if we see in the spirit how bad our circumstances are or were and how much the Lord has loved us and delivered us from our situations and kept us alive and kicking, then we should love the Lord as much as anyone. We have ALL been greatly forgiven so we can love the Lord with real believing love that can propel us to do even greater works of love and faith for Him. We don’t have to have gone through the absolute depths of Hell, to appreciate Heaven. It's a New Day even for us old-timers if we love the Lord. We don't have to give up the fight, for we have NOT yet begun to fight in the End-Time. The best is yet to come Right ? So all we have to do is believe !!
