David Jay Jordan's You have to believe you have a 'Destiny' To truly make it with the Lord, I believe that each of us have to personally and deeply believe that we are loved by the Lord and that He has a very specific purpose for our existence. It's called our 'Destiny' and it is spoken of many times by the writers in the Bible, if we make the right choices. (SEE We have to Choose) For some knew it even at birth from their first memories. They were destined to work and serve the Lord and they always knew it. And this is what kept them going through all the trials and tribulations. In the New Testament, it states ( 2 Peter 1:10 ) Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if (we) do these things, (we) shall never fall: In other words we are suppose to remember when the Lord called us and we heard His Voice. We are suppose to know and appreciate our birth-rite and know we are one of the elect ones of the Lord. We are suppose to know we are different from other people. We aren't here to just live and die and have pleasures in between time. We are special and anointed and appointed for something. We may not know what it is, but we do KNOW there is something waiting for us, if we just keep staying faithful in the present. if we learn and grow then we hope and pray that we will be strong enough to fulfill our DESTINY. For if we have this kind of personal faith concerning why we are here, then surely we can survive anything and continue to continue on NO MATTER WHAT. Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Rom 8:36 - 37 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Rom 8:38 - 39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Don't you agree ? and don't you believe that you have a Destiny with the Lord ? IHS Jay Davidjayjordan@yahoo.com |
