If you engage a First Class Auctioneer it will. But if you decide to save money and go second class on the choice of an Auctioneer, look out! If your auction chair taps one of your members, a newscaster or other well known personality to ‘volunteer’, at best, the event will be mediocre and at worst, disastrous. The proceeds from the live auction could be 25 to 30% less than what David Kaufman can generate.
