ButTucker'sexecution,andthepublicityswirlingaroundhercaseandthefactshewasthefirstwomanexecutedinTexasin135years,hasforcedmanytotakealonghardlookatthemoralityandlogicofcapitalpunishment.
Byanystandard,theonlyconclusiononecanreachisthatitisnotonlymorallywrong,butindefensibleonpracticalgrounds.
