Run to the man to help him. When you get there the man turns to you and smiles. He is the demon from the first challenge! You turn to the door just in time to see it slam closed.

You get ready to take a swing at the demon but just then he says "Good, you have passed the second challenge. Follow me." The demon turns and walks further around the castle, up to a door that you didnt see befor. He opens the door, motions you inside and says "You have a good soul."

You walk thrue the door into a great hall, shurely larger than the whole castle is but hey, in Xanth anything is possible. As you walk down the lengh of the hall you notice that there is no door behind you, the hall just goes on. Is it endless? You walk, on and on, then start to run. It does go on forever.

You stop and look around, you see pictures on the walls, all of letters. You keep walking and you notice that the pictures are in the form of words. You read them and they say:

You have entered the hall of forever, to get out you must answer this. Answer wrong and be forever here.
