The Source of Magic

After Piers Anthony’s first Xanth novel was a success he decided to continue his series with a tremendous follow-up book. That book was obviously called “The Source of Magic”. In book 1 Trent said that Bink would be given the job to find Xanths Source of Magic on the account that his magic talent would keep him well protected. So Bink sets of with Chester Centaur and Crombie the Soldier(transformed to a griffin by Trent). They later are accompanied by Magician Humfrey and Grundy the Golem.

This adventure will take you through the magic dust village, the siren and gorgons lake, the region of madness and plenty of other place including the mysterious layer of Demon X(A/N)th where Bink makes shuts off the magic of Xanth making it the same as dreary Mundania.

The Source of Magic also includes plenty of fights that will keep you entertained through out all the books glory. Some of this fights include: Bink and a Evil sword, Chester, Bink, and Crombie vs. a Dragon, Everyone vs. constellations, Crombie vs. Chester, and more.

After they find The Source of Magic Bink makes a bad mistake and shuts off the magic all Magic in Xanth. this does plenty of bad things to Xanth that aren't noticeable for many books. You’ll know some of the things that happened by the end of that book but not many.

After all of this adventure Bink goes home to find a nice surprise waiting for him. Just read the book and you’ll know what he gets.

The Source of Magic also takes part in the regeneration of Millie the ghost. Which there after works for Bink and Chameleon.

Thus 2 thrilling books of Piers Anthony's exquisite series are complete I’m sure more tremendous books will be reviewed shortly. From the Thrilling adventure of Bink's son in the past to the breathtaking story of Magician Humfrey’s disappearance from the surface of Xanth, and all the way to the end.
