THE DOME - backstage
I was at THE DOME in Berlin and even the weather was great: a very sunny day! This time Enrique couldn’t complain about the horrible German weather ;-) Me and my friend met in the subway station and went there. At the VELODROM (where THE DOME took place) was a very long queue and it was good that we were there earlier. However we had to wait for 2 hours until we stood in front of the security. I had 3 cameras with me, just in case I had to give one away *lol* But they didn’t control us.
When we were in the big concert hall, there were already many people in front of the stage. We were disappointed because we wanted in the first line... Then we went to the places where you could stand but there were security guards. You weren’t allowed to go in front of the stage actually but they made an exception for us :-)
So we were in the area where only the “true” fans were allowed to stand- at the right wing of the stage... we hoped that Enrique would walk to the right part of the stage so we could see him better.
The show was cool- it was a great experience to see all the stars live and not through a camera.
When it was Enrique´s turn, I took my 3 cameras and photographed him! So once again I just saw him through my camera *lol*
However the pictures didn’t turn out very good because he stood too far away. Enrique wore the cap he had worn in Hamburg (Gold Gold Gold) before. Also his band was with him.
He sung ESCAPE and NOT IN LOVE (Kelis was on the playback). It sounded good in the big room!
The fans screamed the whole time... During ESCAPE he just stood there and didn’t move. But during NOT IN LOVE he finally came to the right part of the stage... Everybody screamed and I dont know what he did there- obviously he jumped down to the fans or laid down, I couldn’t see it. On Sunday we´ll see it on TV ;-)
In the end the audience gave him a huuuuggeee applause and I screamed so loud that I cant speak any more ;-)
The Security guards had to carry the girls outside because they fainted!!!! So girls also had to vomit because it was so loud and exciting! I didn’t recognize any damage on my body *lol* I just can´t hear any more! I´m looking forward to seeing the show again on Sunday- this time on TV!
