Biography "Eve of Destiny" was formed in 1998 by Haruhiko Ash, who has made his name before as frontman and singer of the Japanese hard-punk-band "THE ZOLGE". After they disbanded in 1993, Haruhiko was active in different fields, such as fashion model, writer and event-organisator.
Because of "Eve of Destiny" was planned as a one-man-project and not as a band, Közi was first only a guest-guitarplayer as he joined him in 2002 (Both have known each other for a long period. For example you can see Haruhiko Ash mentioned as "adviser" in the booklet of the first "Malice Mizer"-album " memoire".). But soon they discovered that the chemistry between them was good, and so "Eve of Destiny" finally became a duo. Carrying on the tradition of "THE ZOLGE" - one of the few Japanese bands who also did gigs overseas - "Eve of Destiny" have played many concerts in Europe, such as Sweden, Poland and Hungary. And also in Germany you could admire them already: for example they played at the 8th and 11th Wave Gotik Treffen in 1999 and 2002 in Leipzig.
The style of the band could be defined as gothic industrial.
