MONOPOLY RUN
On a cold friday lunchtime in March the leaders set off to london for what would be a memorable weekend.  Arrival to the M25 was swift but then it got bad - Joes map reading skills became untolerable as we'd spent over an hour looking for Gilwell park. Enter Tom, yes another leaders map reading skills that left a lot to be desired, after driving down the same roads and strange country lanes in the middle of london we finally found gilwell only to be turned away for bein too early.  By this point everyones hungry so we decide 2 find a Supermarket which happened 2 b tesco, well we got out the car only 2 freeze so we brought sum cheap fleeces and then totally forgot bout the food opting for a liquid lunch insted.  Next things get complicated - no one knows what they want to eat so we drive around aimlessly for ages and eventually find a Maccd D's so we all pile in there and theres a load od ASBO kids eatin in there so we hurry up and get out.   Finally get to the site and book in only to walk miles in the dark 2 put the tents up.   Have a couple of drinks and a game of cards then i reckon amie pulled and charlie sat there like a spare part. lol  Joe  logs in for the first time....Bed.
Woke up.  Its really cold, think its probably the coldest ive ever been in my life and i've finally decided to get a new roll mat after 14 years.  Looked outside the tent and theres frost everywhere, Joe even reckons his eyeballs have frozen over.  Anyways went the place to get breakfast but forgot them ticket things so had to walk all the way back to get them.  Left for Chingford station bout 9:30 and spent ages waiting in a queue for our tickets. Eventually we get to Liverpool Street Station and suddenly realised we hadn't go a clue of what order to do this thing in.  Anyways we decided to take the easy option and do the stations first so went Harry Potters platform at Kings Cross and then to Marylebone but for some reason no one knew where Fenchurch Street was.  Anyways we walked round and found a few more places then found the watering hole of Tom O'Connor but unfortunately it was shut!  Walked into the Hard Rock Cafe, Joe found Santanas guitar and was well made up.  Well its bout 12:00 now and Charlies still got her hood up not really sure why but we carry on to leicester square and stop off for a pizza.  After lunch we find a few more places then the day begins to go strange...yes, Tom gets of with a lion...well the statue in trafalgar square.  Didnt know where to go off to next so we ended up walking up the mall and had a look at the palace, Amie put her head through the railings and we reckon it cudda got stuck. lol.  Saw Big ben, Parliamment, London Eye and the old council house then for sum strange reason everyone started skiping down the road until we found this bar where we sat outside for a bit.  Got on the tube at Waterloo and ended up in Camden Town, had a look round the market then Amie realised that she'd burnt her coat on sum dodgy jos stick.  Got back on the tube to Tottenham Court Road and found the dirtyiest cafe ever known to man so with this dirtyness in mind we went down for a walk round Soho.  Got back to Liverpool St, Tom thought some perv was after him in the bogs and i fell asleep on the train.
Back at site had a few games of cards then got ready to go the 70s disco this was a good laugh and amie and charlie disapeared...no idea where to. lol
