NEWS:

14th March
Yes, tonight was the Isish Night so in honour of St Patrick we decided to adopt an irish accent for the night which in itself was a laugh....Along with the traditional irish style background music the scouts had a go at making Irish stew in a bag using trangias.  This worked quite well and the night was topped off by a strange irish song that made everyone laugh.

The Scouts have just taken part in the Annual District Quiz which was entered by around 11 groups from around the District.  It consisted of four heats with Appelby, Ashby Hastings, Huglescote and Whitwick progressing to the final which was held at Thringstone Scout Headquaters last week.
The Event was won by Ashby Hastings who now hold the trophy for the year.  Many thanks to Kirk, the leaders and especially the teams that took part making the event possible.
