The Dark Lord is pleased to have made some stuff for the Sims. A wise person would know that it isn't good to make the Dark Lord mad, so here are some ways to keep him happy.... or else he'll send the wrath of the Death Eaters after you(and perhaps a few Nazgul if he can muster them).

1. All
original content is free to clone, recolour, use in houses or screenshots, modify in any way that you want. If I use a base from another creator please refer to their cloning/file distribution policy. I don't require that one asks permission though I do ask that some credit be given.

2. If you are using my things and are a paysite, they have to be on your FREE section only. Nothing I make can *ever*  be used for profit or used to promote a paysite. This is the one rule that if you break will make me very very VERY mad.

3. Share my files as much as you like, through e-mail, groups, pigeon mail, etc. just don't post them on websites or groups without credit.

4. If you want to clone anything on the site, please make it look different from the original(recolours are fine)

5. Please do not link directly to files or images my site, bandwidth is a [insert favourite expletive here] without people linking to things

6. Cloning/File sharing rules only apply to things I've made. For anything made by a different creator, such as guestwork or collaborative projects, please contact the creator(s) for their policies.

                                                                      Sincerely,

                                                                      Lord Voldemort
How to use these files: They come as a .zip file which you need to unzip(You need winzip which is on many computers I think) After un-zipping put the .iff files(objects) in your Sims/Downloads or Sims/GameData/ UserObjects folders, Walls, Floors and Skins files go into the Sims/Gamedata/Walls[Floors;Skins etc] folders.

All my files are categorised for all expansion packs where it makes sense. If you need to recategorise any files, I recommend SimCategorizer from Paladin's Palace(I have the link in the links section) which lets you change the categories as well as the object description. There's also the NPC replacer program which I love, it lets you change all the NPCs in the game with skins that you have so they fit better if you have a themed neighbourhood.

IIf there's a problem downloading or if bandwidth gets really hairy, most of the files are available at my Yahoo groups which seem to have less problems. Due to numerous computer crashes, I no longer have most objects still available on my disks so I cannot send files directly. All objects have been tested and worked in my game.

This site only has objects for Sims 1.

Cloning Policy: Don't know why anyone *would* want to clone my items; but hey people are weird so here's my policy & rules for file-sharing & cloning
