Here's Pete receiving an award from the President and outgoing VP/Captain for responding to the most calls in 1999 (547!)...
This is when Pete was elected the VP/Captain of the Corps.
These are all our members who responded to over 100 calls in 1999...
This was a call where a 4-year old boy was badly burnt in a house fire.  He had to be flown by helicopter to the nearest major trauma/burn unit in Westchester County, New York...
Pete is the EMT bending down and holding the end of the stretcher as it's being loaded into the chopper.
This is a call where a man fell off his deck the day before, and woke up the next morning unable to walk...
Deb is the EMT at the bottom right of the picture buckling a strap on the backboard.
These are the helicopters that serve our area.  They are stationed in Orange County and fly to Westchester County Medical Center in about 10-15 minutes.  An amblulance ride to that hospital would normally take 35 to 40 minutes.
