Dedicated
To all my fellow Americans
Here and in that Desert far away
And to my Arab Brothers and Sisters
To the memory of those who have died on both sides
A Prayer for my desert foe

Desert sands now will blow,
Saddam sleeps in his bunkers far below,
from B-1 bombers smart bombs flow,
into the palaces gardens far below,
Look to the columns in the south,
America's might does now impart,
driving the spear into her heart,
now rip the cancer from her weeping heart,
that she might find a fresh new start.
Hear my friend my foe,
Baghdad has it's heart of gold,
poets, artisans from old,
but Saddam broke your heart of old,
Stole the dreams of the poets heart,
curshed the artisans work of art,
beneath the heel of his tryants heart,
beauty blooms in this desert sand but more would be at freedom's hand.
Ah what wisdom was in this desert's heart,
ancient are their works of art,
a poets wisdom to guide them there,
across those bridges that wisdom shares.
From the past into the future,
cold are the hearts of evil creatures,
peace is the path that God does seek,
but evil rules in high places.
Allah would have his world at peace,
but evil men who call his name,
have brought Islam nought but shame,
hear me people of the world bring down this evil scourge.
Now hear me oh Islam,
those evil ones bring shame unto your God,
they bring death unto the innocent,
and shame to all Islam.
If your heart is true to Allah
(swt),
and wisdom is his word,
then find in your heart and in your soul,
to bring their terror down.
