ZAYDIS

The Zaydis are a branch of Shi'ism, found in Yemen.  They are sometimes refered to as the 'fivers'.After Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin, who shia regard as the fourth imam, most shias take Muhammed Al-Baqir to be the next Imam.  However, Zayadis take Al-Baqir's brother Zayd as imam.

The Zaydis represent the most moderate of shia groups, and are regarded as closest to sunni islam.
