1) Krishna Chaitanya (KC) a.k.a Dega

Who says Chartered Accountants are dull boys. KC is B.Com, ACA, ISA. KC's interest in western music sprouted right from the age of 10. Greatly influenced by the likes of Bon Jovi and Iron Maiden, he became a fan of hard rock and heavy metal. But this wasn't enough....

KC never believed in learning anything the formal way. So he managed to teach himself a bit of the guitar and joined his school band. But then he ended up being the lead vocalist and the bassist of the school band. His passion for songs prevented him from sticking to just one instrument. He bought a modest keyboard a yamaha PSR-520 on which he composed his 1st complete songs.

Today KC has a small recording studio at his home and all of his songs are recorded and produced within the confines of his room.  Most of the 10 songs listed in this page are composed and produced by KC. KC is now working on some music projects in indian regional languages (tamil songs).

KC started this band sometime around 1997-98.

2) Sai Sundar:

Sai is a truly talented and a creative person. KC was introduced to Sai by Satish (former drummer for Dega). Blessed with good looks and a powerful voice Sai became an indispensable part of the band.

Sai is currently completing his MCA. He is an excellent web designer in flash and HTML and has won many awards for his designs.

Starting off as a Model for commercials Sai is now seriously pursuing his career as an actor. He has even appeared in a recent movie by A.M. Ratnam titled "Enakku 20 unakku 18" a tamil movie. Sai has also appeared as a model  in a number of commercials in the local scene.

2) Videep:

Probably one of the most promising rock guitarists in chennai, Videep is driven by a passion for the guitar. He is currently persuing his Bachelors in Corporate Affairs at a reputed institution in Chennai.

Like Father Like son, Videep's passion for the guitar is shared by none other than his Father 'Vijay'. However his father prefers instrumental rock while videep is into head banging. KC was introduced to Videep's father through a common friend and thats when DEGA's songs leapt forward in terms of quality.

Videep is an avid gamer and enjoys spending long afternoons with his Gibson Les Paul. His favorite bands are Pearl Jam and  Metallica .
