Future Homes
Of all the places I've called home; from dormatories, apartments, condos, and even mansions, there is nothing quite as nice as a well designed highrise apartment.

Waking up to a great view can affect the outlook of your whole day. Living in the city takes away from the hectic commute suburban life demands.

My preference to live in an apartment is based on my visit to Europe. Living in a "flat" is the norm for most europeans. Space is a limited commodity in the metro areas. However, the benefit of living in the city is accessability. You can either walk or take a tram anywhere you wish to go. There is no need for a car. Nearly every major european city has a subway system or "tube".

Other influences for inner-city apartment dwelling has been the movie "The Fifth Element", where the charachter Corbin Dallas (Bruce Willis) lives in an apartment the size of a walk-in closet. The cool part were the amenities it offered such as a bed that retracts into the wall and a shower/commode that disappears into the ceiling. Everything was functional.

Sadly, the tradeback for living in the city would be the high cost of keeping a car. I'd either have to pay a fortune for parking or risk leaving the
Jeep out on the street.
