At my school in chandler, AZ we were told to write a persuasive essay on a convtroversial issue. after searching for days i came to brandy's memorial page and almost cried. my persuasive speech was pro drunk driving laws and i showed her memorial page to my class. When i was through there were tears in everyones eyes and they are all working on a project to take to the city council to change our citys drunk driving laws. If we are successful, we will take it further and i wanted to let you know that your daughter's death was our inspiration so thank you. I lost a loved one to a drunk driver. He was the DD at a party and was struck from the side by someone that had been at the party. He wanted to be the safe one, but in the end he was the one that was smitted, killed because of someones selfish pleasure. The drunk driver walked away with only a few scratches and a broken hand.
