A Typical Days Schedule

7:15 a.m. Get up, fix coffee, let the dogs outside, straighten out the couch and put blankets away
7:30a.m. Go pee, get dressed, sit at table drinking coffee and have a smoke or two or three
8:00a.m. Check on mom (most likely sleeping), work outside rain or shine, checking on mom every 15 minutes.
10:00a.m. Come back in the house, clean up/change clothes, check on mom (most likely sleeping), try to get mom up, take her breakfast, take out dinner, drink some more coffee and smoke some more, check e-mail.
11:00a.m. Vacuum and dust living and dining room.
12:00p.m. Try to get mom up, take her lunch, have more coffee, start the laundry (at least three tubs), dump her commode and clean it, clean the bathrooms.
2:00p.m. Make another pot of coffee, clean up kitchen, put away/fold laundry, try to get mom up, let the dogs out, go pee again.
3:00p.m. Wipe down woodwork, vacuum and dust rest of house (except mom’s room), mop all floors.
5:00p.m. Start dinner, try to get mom up (she usually does at this point), help her change her clothes/wash up, get her to living room, take her bedding/pj’s to laundry, make more coffee, finish fixing dinner, feed the dogs.
6:00p.m. Get mom’s plate ready, eat dinner, read the paper, clear the table, get mom back to her chair, wash the dishes, do last load of laundry, vacuum and dust mom’s room, make her bed, get her meds together
8:00p.m. Get mom to toilet and settled in for her shows, check e-mail again/answer some, check on web site, fold the laundry.
9:00p.m. Sit with mom watching t.v., sneak online for a few, get mom her snack and warm her coffee again
11:00p.m. Give mom her meds., cross fingers that she will go to bed soon, help her to toilet, let the dogs in, watch the news.
11:30a.m. Let mom watch Letterman, update site, check e-mail/answer more and wait for mom to get ready for bed.
2:00 a.m. Mom is usually in bed by now, I get my blankets crawl up on the couch and go to sleep so I can start all over tomorrow.
