Craftsman Club News
Well another month has passed with the Lodge activity is going strong. Five Brothers were passed to the degree of Fellow Craft. I would like to encourage all Brothers to come to the Craftsmen Club on Tuesday nights to assist these Brothers in the completion of their degree work, so that we might look for all five to be raised to Master Masons in March. We also have the Grand Lodge coming up on March 26 and 27. I hope we will have a good member representation at this event. I look forward to seeing all of you on Tuesday nights.

From the Secretary's Desk We still have a few brothers who have not paid their dues for 2008. Please mail your dues in and save the lodge the expense of mailing a second notice. We will be attending Grand Lodge soon and voting on several proposals. I have a copy of them in my office. If you want to read them and let your lodge representatives know what you think, come to lodge on Tuesday night or one of the degree nights.
Congratulations to the five (5) brothers who received their Fellow Craft degree in February. We will be busy this next month preparing for these five Master Mason degrees. We sure could use some help. Come and assist and support the lodge as we confer these degrees.

Brother William Forrest Mabry entered the Celestial Lodge Above on February 15, 2008. He was a fifty- year (50) Member. Please keep his family in your prayers.
Attending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered to her mother, "Why is the bride dressed in white?" Because white is the color of happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life. "The child thought about this for a moment, then said, "So why is the groom wearing black?" A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!" While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again. As she ran she once again began to pray, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late...But please don't shove me either!" |
