I must admit I did'nt like it all that much when I first heard it, but after a few listens it really sticks - go and find it. Edie Brickell & The New Bohemians - Strings Of Love Ghost O A Dog - GEFFEN G19269 John adds his delightful backing vocals to the song 'Strings Of Love' on the 1990 album Ghost Of A Dog.He is only really audible at the end of the track, this came about through sharing a producer - Tony Berg (Don't Ask Me - The Greatest Hits So Far) Leftfield & John Lydon - Open Up (click here for lyrics & cover) 12'' - Radio Edit/Full Vocal Mix/Dervish Overdrive HARD HANDS 009T 12'' - Sabres Of Paradise/I Hate Pink Floyd And Open Dub Remixes/Dust (Chemical) Brothers Mix : HARD HANDS 009R Cassingle - Radio Edit/Full Vocal Mix/Dervish Overdrive HARD HANDS 009MC Cd Single - Radio Edit/Full Vocal Mix/Dervish Overdrive HARD HANDS 009CD (all released 1993) This single also appears on Leftfields '95 album Leftism (COLUMBIA/HARD HANDSCD2) and a version of the Dust Brothers (chemical brothers) is on Johns "Psychos Path' album. A promo video was shot, but it co-incided with the Hollywood fires in L.A. so it was'nt shown much, as with radio play due to the 'Burn Hollywood Burn' lyric. This is also the title track for a Nintendo 64 game 'Allstar Baseball 2000' and is credited to John Lydon only. Psycho's Path - John Lydon - (click here for more info) VIRGIN CDVUS130, 1997 LIBERATION MUSH33021.2 (in New Zealand) 15 tracks of John solo, and despite a serious lack of promotion on Virgins behalf and some maulings via the press - THIS IS GOOD! He's put out yet another album, different in sound to previous work (which is impressive after all this time) Requires a few listens to get into, but having said that, tracks like Sun and Take Me,could have shown that cess pool called the top 40 how it's done properly. Produced, written, vocals and instruments all done by John in his home studio in California, he even took care of the packaging design. A must.
