Ahhh yes, the age old story of changing with pop culture. It couldn't be more evident in blink 182. This is pure evidence of punk going pop. And if you think not, you must live under a rock.
What do these "guys" do to get popular? Yes, they run around naked in their music video to grab peoples attention. Doesn't sound like punk to me, just a big corporation stunt. All of a sudden MTV are all over them (Once again, they do what they can for attention).
They do their next couple of videos, " mocking" boy bands (wannabes) to grab the preppy girls attention.
And just when you think it can't get any less punk, they release their next cd. Now if they think they can pull off a music video where they destroy stuff and give a homeless guy a makeover, and still remain punk, theyve got another thing coming. Talk about money abusers.
They really need to start calling themselves pop, and less punk.
