All right, let's get this straight... 1. We HATE pop. 2. We despise rap. 3. We can't stand ghetto. 4. Anything that they play on Kiss FM, B94, and those top hits stations... we cannot tolerate. 5. No country..that's a given. 6. We don't like EMO, it's annoying, hense club D.W.E. 7. We hate the fact that being "Punk" has become a trend. No we do not listen to Pop.. As far as I'm concerned, the "Anti-Bad Music Site" doesn't need a site dedicated to this Satanic "music". If I tried to make a page for each band/artist that is Pop and sucks, well, this would never end, because they all suck and there are too many! We already have an anti-rap/Eminem page, mainly because we can't stand Eminem's whining. Look, if you're a prep or jock, stick to YOUR music, the music listed above. Don't get mad about what we say, and don't even start listening to Punk, you don't deserve it. You're not cool, you're not some big bad ass, stick to the boy bands! We have our opinions, you have yours; we don't want to hear yours, you're not changing our minds. This whole web page is for fellow good music listeners rather than you whiny Emo Pop loving kids. So.. if you are a Pop, boy band loving freak, GET OFF THIS PAGE NOW! Oh yeah, and the Commercial Punk that is also on this page, don't listen to it. There are tons of jocks and now cheerleaders getting involved in the Commercial Punk music. It's a shame to the people that actually like it - and I'm putting this in here for my friends that do listen to Commercial Punk - but come on, you can't pull it off. Listening to this does not make you a better person, it just makes you confusing. You've got the ghetto thing going, and then you "listen" to Commercial Punk and think you're a beast. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you aren't. Well, that was more words than needed to get my point across, so, Emo sucks, Pop sucks, we hate that kind of "music". |

And yes, I am aware that we have no lives. That's exactly how this page got started, we were bored. At least I admit it. And you have no life either for going ON this page and sticking up for the bands that suck. "So I thought the magazine should be for other fuck-ups like us. Kids who grew up believing only in the Three Stooges. Kids that had parties when their parents were away and destroyed the house. You know, kids that stole cars and had fun. So I said, 'Why don't we call it Punk?" The word 'punk' seemed to sum up the threat that connected everything we liked -- drunk, obnoxious, smart but not pretentious, absurd, funny, ironic, and things that appealed to the darker side." ~Holmstrum Good music is not about money, it's about having a voice about what you believe. |

I've come to the conclusion that year 2003 is just like the late 1970's. The year 2000 and a little before that, we followed what happened in the earlier 70's. The drugs, the flowers, the bellbottoms, the smiley faces, long hair, and the fight for peace, thus being hippies. Now we're into the later 70's where people were wearing dog collors, bike chains, leather jackets, safety pins, mocking women's wear, and being anti hippie with short hair and seperating into racist groups. Believe it or not, punk originated in the late 1960's and then seperating into ska (skinheads) and punk, later creating a racist group(boneheads) and a non racist group (skinheads) from that. Punk's dressed as described earlier, and looked very unhealthy. They were violent, full of angst, and could kick anyone's ass. Skinheads had short hair dyed unusual colors to rebel against the hippies with their long hair, steel toed boots, and un-rippable clothes for getting into fights. Punk music originated in New York, with the Velvet Underground. It had spread world wide and reached England before we could get a record out of it. The Sex Pistols got their hands on Punk and a record deal, thus making it seem Punk originated in England. Punk was to become a way to change pop music, but some was corupted because of disco. The punk that came out of the 1980's was a little cleaner, a little less hateful, less violent and vulgar, but still kept the message. Now if the guys and women that originated punk could see what was called punk now, I'm sure they'd kill themselves, or what they were looking at. Punk was considered dead in 1990; I say it was just hidden and misunderstood. -Reah |

We like a variety of music, it's just certain types we can't stand... the kind that molds the society into the same types of people. AKA: poppy, preppy, cheerleaders.. whatever. We like old stuff, it's original, you don't like it? Tough. |
