Formed
in 1993, The St. Anthony Brass Quintet has established itself among the
finest chamber ensembles in Minnesota. The quintet performs weddings
and church services throughout the Twin Cities, and is currently the resident
brass ensemble at the Church of St.Louis, King of France in downtown St.Paul.
The quintet also presents frequent recitals featuring the best of brass
quintet repertoire, including premier performances of works written for
the group. Minnesota Public Radio has featured the St. Anthony Brass
Quintet on "The Music Room" with Eric Friesen and other special live broadcasts.
The quintet was a semifinalist at the 1995 Fischoff International Chamber
Music Competition. As members of Young Audiences of Minnesota, the
quintet is committed to bringing educational concerts to schools throughout
Minnesota.
