Framed Black and White Felt Paper Display Description Below

This display was the original of the two displays with this design.  It was created with white and black felt paper.  At the time, felt paper was new and seemed like an easier way to design frames.  The draw backs were seen a few years latter.  The black has stayed nice, but the white has yellowed.  If you look at the center section the top and the bottom were created with the same sheet.  The center of that section used a different sheet.  The two different sheets are not yellowing at the same rate.  Unlike the arrangement of the artifacts on the other display, this one works very well.  The side sections are fiber artifacts and the corners are wood artifacts.  By having the different type of artifacts in these sections, eyes are drawn to them.  This display came togather very well with each section complimenting each other.
