Chocolate Pound Cake


3 cups sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
2 sticks margarine, softned
5 eggs
3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp.salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/4 cups milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, Crisco and margarine. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Sift dry ingredients together 3 times. Alternately add milk and dry ingredients to sugar mixture. Add vanilla. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325* for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.
