COCOA CAKE*
1 cup boiling water
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix first 4 ingredients and melt. Let cool. Mix with next 3 ingredients and beat well. Add next 4 ingredients. Pour in greased broiler pan, or a 9 X 13 inch pan and bake in 350* oven 20 to 25 minutes. Batter will be thin.
Icing:
1 box XX sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
7 Tbsp. evaporated milk
1 stick margarine
1 cup pecans, chopped
Sift together XX sugar and cocoa. Heat evaporated milk and margarine. Mix with sugar. Add pecans. Pour over cake while cake is hot
