GOULASH ***
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 small onion, chopped.
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 Green Pepper, chopped
Garlic powder, to taste
1 1/2 cups, instant rice, cooked
1 can tomato soup or small can tomato sauce
1 small can mushrooms
Brown the ground beef. Saute, in butter, the onions, celery, peppers & garlic. Add to the drained ground beef and stir in well as it cooks.
Add the cooked rice, tomato soup and mushrooms.
Cook till bubbly.
Good with tossed salad & garlic bread. You can freeze left overs for another day. You can add hot sauce or red pepper to taste.
The same dish can be prepared using Noodles instead of rice....(Its called Scumgutty then).
