Mrs. Eisenhower's Million Dollar Fudge


1 (12 oz.) pkg.chocolate bits
3 (4 oz.) pkg. German's sweet cooking chocolate (Baker's)
1 (8 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
2 cups, chopped nuts
4 1/2 cups sugar
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 large can evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine chocolate, marshmallow cream and nuts in large bowl. Put sugar, butter and milk in large saucepan. When it reaches a rolling boil, boil 6 minutes, stirring often. Pour at once over chocolate mixture in bowl and stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is creamy. Pour into buttered pan, two 9" X 9" or two 8" X 8" or one 13" X 9" X 2", depending on thickness of fudge you like. Yields approximately 5 pounds. Cut in squares when fudge is completely cool.
