OLD-FASHIONED FRUIT CAKE


5 large eggs
2 sticks margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups self-rising flour
1 lb. pineapple (candied)
1 can coconut
1 lb. cherries (candied)
4 cuos chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 oz. lemon flavoring

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and flour. Dredge fruit and nuts in flour and baking powder. Mix together all ingredients. Bake in 250* oven 2 1/2 hours in a greased and floured tube pan or small loaf pans.
