PECAN TASSIES


1 stick butter
1 cup plain flour
1 (3 oz.)pkg. cream cheese

FILLING:

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup, brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1 cup, chopped pecans

Combine first 3 ingredients and place in refrigerator for 1 hour. Take out and press pastry into 24 mini muffin tins.
Mix Filling ingredients and pour in unbaked pastry shells. Bake at 375* for 20 minutes.
