SQUASH AU GRATIN


2 cups cooked squash
1/4 cup, chopped onion
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 egg
salt & pepper to taste
3 Tbsp. bread crumbs
1 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated

Cook squash and onion in small amount of boiling water until tender. Mix egg, salt, pepper and 1/2 bread crumbs into squash mixture. Sprinkle rest of bread crumbs in bottom of baking dish. Spoon squash mixture over crumbs and top with margarine and grated cheese. Bake at 350* for 15 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
